Biodata
Dr. Shahee is an Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Kashmir, specializing in experimental condensed matter physics. With over 14 years of international research experience, his work focuses on the synthesis, growth, and characterization of novel multifunctional materials for spintronics, data storage, and energy harvesting. His distinguished career includes postdoctoral fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Breain Korea 21 Fellow at Seoul National University, South Korea and postdoctoral fellow at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Germany, as well as a prestigious Ramanujan Fellowship at Kashmir University and IUST-Kashmir. He was also coordinator of the Frontier Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences (FRIIS) at IUST Kashmir.
Dr. Shahee's academic excellence is marked by two-gold medals during his M.Sc Physics at the University of Kashmir, CSIR-NET in Physical Science in 2008 and secured an All India Rank of 51 in the JEST-2009. He subsequently completed his Ph.D. research under CSIR fellowships at the UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research, Indore, receiving his M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from DAVV.
His contributions to experimental condensed matter physics are reflected in approximately 50 international publications, including papers in high-impact journals like Nature Communications, and have been recognized with numerous honors, including the SERB-SURE grant, Ramanujan Fellow, and Brain Korea 21 Plus Postdoctoral Fellow.
